Chooms, it’s time to head back into Night City!

Following the brilliant response to our GamesFest Cyberpunk TCG Reveal, we’re very excited to be hosting the official Welcome to Night City Pre-release at Geek-aboo.

This is your chance to get your hands on the full retail release before launch, crack open your Pre-release Kit, build a deck from what you pull and battle it out with the rest of the crew.

Whether you joined us for the Beta or this will be your very first game of Cyberpunk TCG, you’re absolutely welcome. Pre-releases are designed to be fun, relaxed and a great way to learn the game.

What do I get?

Every player receives an official Welcome to Night City Pre-release Kit, containing:

• 6 × Welcome to Night City Retail Booster Packs
• 3 × additional random Legend cards to help build your deck
• 1 × Gorilla Arms promotional card
• 1 × complete Cyberpunk TCG polyhedral dice set: D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 and D20

The three additional Legends and Gorilla Arms promo feature the special “WTNC 2026” foil stamp, exclusive to Pre-release Kits. Cyberpunk TCG

Event Format — Sealed

You don't need to bring a Cyberpunk TCG deck with you.

Open your Pre-release Kit on the day and build your deck using the cards you receive.

Your Sealed deck will consist of:

3 Legends
Choose exactly three Legends from the Legends supplied in your kit and/or any Legends you open from your boosters.

30+ card Main Deck
Build a minimum 30-card deck using cards from up to three colours.

Importantly, in Sealed your chosen Legends do not determine the colours of your deck, and the normal RAM restrictions can be ignored when deckbuilding. Your three Legends can also be any colour. Cyberpunk TCG

You can also include your Gorilla Arms Pre-release promo in the deck if you want to play it. Cyberpunk TCG

⚔️ Tournament Structure

With our event capped at 16 players, we're planning:

4 rounds of Swiss
Best-of-3 matches
50 minutes per round

There will also be plenty of time before Round 1 for everyone to open their packs, look through their cards and build their decks. WeirdCo recommends allowing approximately 30–60 minutes for Sealed deck construction. Cyberpunk TCG

Cards you open but don't include in your initial deck effectively form your sideboard, so between matches you can change your deck using cards from your Sealed pool, provided your deck still meets the Sealed deckbuilding rules. Cyberpunk TCG

IMPORTANT — Please create a Melee.gg account

Cyberpunk TCG uses Melee.gg as its official tournament platform.

If you haven't already created a Melee account, please sign up before coming to the event.

We'll be using Melee for:

Player registration • Pairings • Table numbers • Results • Tournament standings

Having your account ready beforehand will make check-in much quicker and means we can get everyone into Night City without unnecessary delays.

We also recommend bringing your phone with you so you can check your pairings and submit results during the event. Cyberpunk TCG

Don't worry!

Cyberpunk TCG Pre-releases are specifically designed to be accessible to new players. We'll help everyone get set up, explain the Sealed format and give players time to familiarise themselves with their cards before we start.

If you played in our Welcome to Night City Beta Event, the format will feel very familiar — but this time we'll be opening the full retail Welcome to Night City release.

Experienced choom or completely new to Night City, come along, crack some packs and have some fun.
